Status Update

A couple of you reminded me that I need to post the files for the Snow Serpent pack. I'm going to do my best to get that uploaded this afternoon. The long and the short of it is that because I sculpted it in zBrush and Dynameshed the hell out of it so I could do some fabric texture on the sleeping roll, the file is pretty big and the max file size I can post on Patreon requires me to decimate it down significantly.

The Shockwave set is just about done. I've finally gotten over my lack of success printing with F69. This is a liquid TPU like resin. I used it to do those Cobra Warlord vests. My thinking is that I want to try using this for the peg of backpacks as that is a bit of a weak point and nobody wants pegs broken off in the hole on the back of their figures.

Back packs are tricky with resin because if they are solid they are way too heavy and cause the figures to tip over. The obvious answer is to hollow them out. The trick with that is that you NEED to be able to thoroughly clean out the inside with alcohol and if possible get some UV in there to cure it. This means having a large opening which I am also not a fan of because then I am left with finding a way to conceal the seam line as best as possible. I'm working on making the peg with the portion of the pack its attached to a separate piece printed in F69 then adhering it to the rest of the pack printed in TH72 or Elegoo ABS-like. F69 is VERY expensive and tough to work with. It also requires very specific slice settings that also lower the quality of detail on the prints so I dont want to do the whole pack that way.

Anyhow, I owed you an update and I wanted you to know I'm putting a lot of thought into creating these files for 3D printing the best possible product. I will also post solid items for those that are printing FDM and dont need to account for drainage. Thanks again everyone!
