What I'm doing

Hey everyone,

First of all, thank you for your support! My fundraiser exceeded its goal and while it didn't cover the cost of the damage, it did prevent me from falling behind on rent. It means a lot!

Things are still incredibly hectic. I had to take a private commission from a friend to make ends meet, which is why I haven't uploaded it to any of my accounts. I am currently working on a Secret Santa picture that I cannot post until Christmas.

I've done some sketching for the next page of Awaken. The final part of Ask Dragon Lord Mother Blaze is also in the works. Besides that I have been super busy with my home sale, the close on which got extended so we can do the last bits of work on it before the final walk-through. I hate that I had to sell my home and move into a more expensive place, but I had no choice. Local contractors didn't want to do repairs and that only changed after I listed the place and had a realtor working for me whom they knew. It's messed up, but it's just how it is.

I'm hoping to put that behind me very soon so I can focus on doing some art before school starts in January. I've been admitted and registered for classes. Books and tuition have been paid for so after I've filled out the last bits of paperwork for that whole thing tomorrow that's something I can take a break from too, for now... I won't be attending school full time but I will have lots of homework. Still, I should be able to put out art while I'm in school. I will have periods where I'm expected to get work experience, meaning I'll be shadowing at places of employment to get a feel for the job I'm getting my certificate for.

It's going to get incredibly cold over the next couple of days and I'm not doing much for the holidays, so hopefully I'll get a couple of pieces done before I upload my Secret Santa pic on Christmas day.
