Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a decent episode that started off fast and fun and slowed down bit near the end . But that happens sometime it is what it is . Dude I love how Rimmer tells Lister don't touch anything until they are done fixing the wiring faults , Lister proceeds to tell cat don't touch anything electrical and 2 seconds later he touches something electrical lmao . I knew he would screw up but it still cracked me up . Lister moving one eye during the swap was hilarious , it reminded me of the Bill Hader interview when he talked about how creepy it was when the guy who plays IT the clown moves his eyes individually . Everyone thought it was CGI . Listers eye goes in the opposite direction but its still just as impressive . I cant even cross my eyes  . I watched a video trying to learn to do it just to creep out Tay and no luck lol. I loved cats word for getting your junk caught in something as well lol (Jozxyqk).

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Oh wow that is interesting man. Thank for sharing.

Red Dwarf is best when it's in front of a live audience. This is the only episode before season 7 that wasn't done that way and it shows why Red Dwarf's best seasons are 3-6. I'm glad they realised the mistake after season 7 and went back to having an audience (I'm not counting Back To Earth as that was bad for different behind the scenes reasons)

And illogical, since of course their voices wouldn't actually have changed after the mind swap, only their accents, so all the dubbing was completely unnecessary.

Alexander Bond

Oh ok thanks for clearing that up bud!

LOL it is hard to do I don't know if I will be able to do it. Agreed it was a good episode not the best on but I still did enjoy it. Take care!

After Work Reactions

Oh man good thing you are feeling better though. Everyone says you loose your appetite.

After Work Reactions

Agree with you josh, it was never one of my favourite episodes because of the technical issues with the voice dubs not being perfect. Also, I think it loses something because the body swap scenes weren't filmed in front of the studio audience so the actors have to anticipate where the laughs will be. I always found it a bit awkward. Some funny moments though, for sure. The auto destruct sequence is great, but the dubbing removes me from the story too much.

Reacting to people reacting that's kinda meta ;)

Please react to Gogglebox and Celebrity Juice

JokerDanny

it's been in the polls but not enough people vote for it.

Hey buddy, has anyone recommended “Spaced” yet?

I had Covid throughout February and lost my appetite for at least 3 weeks. Once I was starting to get better, i started craving food again i think i overdid it like Rimmer, which then made me feel sick because it felt like my stomach had probably shrunk in those 3 weeks. Gorging on delicious food will change anyone man

Adam C Turek

Absolutely, although Craig did a great job on the overdub afterwards so they both made ‘Rimmer as Lister’ look better

More proof if more were needed how talented Chris Barrie is, while Craig Charles with all due respect to him struggles in this episode. Chris Barrie gets the lip syncing and mannerisms spot on, hes a very good mimic and was a well known impressionist working on Spitting Image.

I love that you tried to learn the eye thing just to freak Tay out lol. I can barely wink without looking like I'm having a stroke so god knows how Lister did that. Not a very strong episode imo but I still enjoy it :)

Kippers are smoked herring usually eaten for breakfast in the UK (you may remember the same fish making an appearance in the Fawlty Towers episode 'The Kipper and the Corpse'). Now imagine that same fish in a super spicy curry. That's (the very unappetising sounding) kippers vindaloo!
