Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

The last episode folks :-(. This was a fantastic show and it will be missed. When I read the title of this episode I knew it would be hilarious. As I saw the health inspector I thought aw man it's about to get crazy lol. The best parts in this episode were the rat running across the floor full speed and the rat in the tin staring at the health inspector lol. It cracked me up when Polly said Basil was in the ratatouille and Manuel screamed. This was a great final episode and this show will be missed but I do look forward to the weekly movies.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

John Cleese rates this as the best FT episode. It's in my top three.

Jonny Mullins

Dean Macgregor

Hey bud! I have been receiving many comments for that show so hopefully it will will in a poll soon =]

After Work Reactions

I think so as well lol =]

After Work Reactions

It's been a month or two since I've commented regularly (but still watching everything religiously), and I'm beyond thrilled that my campaign for One Foot in the Grave months ago is still alive and so many people are backing it! Feeling pretty confident it'll win in the next poll for a longer-running show!

slashdisco

Judging by the above comments we are all closer to One Foot In The Grave than some of us might think.

Tony Smyth

Thank you I appreciate that. The rat was hilarious I was cracking up!

After Work Reactions

I know I am bummed it is over.

After Work Reactions

LOL agreed bud.

After Work Reactions

Yea redoing a show usually doesn't go too well unfortunately. I will check that out thanks bud!

After Work Reactions

The Office will be over soon as well bud so I will be doing a poll for the next show.

After Work Reactions

I do polls once I finish shows, but I did do a post a while back saying I was going to make Sundays a movie day. Once the Office is finished I will be doing a poll.

After Work Reactions

Thanks bud I will check that out!

After Work Reactions

You heard the man make sure you all vote lol

After Work Reactions

please please!! people for the next poll one foot in the grave I Just know Victor Mildrew will have Josh rolling hysterically in fits of laughter as he did for me over the years.

My favourite show Fawlty Towers, glad you enjoyed it Josh! As i said in a previous post, for your own personal viewing check out “Fawlty Towers Re-Opened” the 2009 documentary (its on youtube) its well worth a watch!

Scott Williamson

I second that promotion, although I'm a much bigger fan of Reeves & Mortimer myself. [If you didn't read this in Rob Brydon's voice you can claim a refund or start again. ] (If you are now reading it in Bob Mortimer's voice you owe me 10%), But if you are reading it in Vic Reeve's voice I will owe you a million pounds, forever...

Tony Smyth

Really glad you enjoyed Fawlty Towers dude, Gavin and Stacey next please!

Craig Collis

"fake-looking, bicycle-riding rat in the 'racist' episode" Ees hamster!

Z is for Zed

Hope One Foot In The Grave appears on here one day for your next British sitcom reaction.

A

He already has, but as it's 6 seasons he's put it in the "long-running" list, so it will come up when another long-running series ends.

Manly Stump

The creators of Father Ted have apparently cited Fawlty Towers as a big influence, so much so that the fake-looking, bicycle-riding rat in the 'racist' episode was a bit of an homage to the one in this episode! After hearing that I definitely see the similarities, with Ted and Dougal sometimes having a "Basil and Manuel" kind of relationship, and the way things keep going wrong. Watching this episode today and seeing the scene where the inspector sees the rat I was reminded of the scene in Father Ted where Bishop Brennan gets kicked up the arse, the way he is just dumbfounded, not quite believing what just happened, and everyone else just acting like it didn't happen! Might have been another moment that was influenced by this show. Anyway, I know I won't be the only one saying this but I can't believe you've already finished Fawlty Towers, it really does feel like a show you've just began, I know there are famously very few episodes for such a classic sitcom, but it's the same amount of episodes as Extras, and that didn't seem to go by as fast as this. Anyway, looking forward to Movie Sundays :) Really glad you enjoyed this show Josh, it's a classic for a reason!

Inside No 9.... oh I just heard movie day :(

Loved that show, I don’t think they could have kept the standard as high for a 3rd season. You might be interested to see one of several US remakes of Faulty Towers. I’m not sure why anyone would attempt to remake it and not just transmit the original. I guess they had their reasons. Perhaps they were worried the accents or some of the references wouldn’t be understood. 🙂 https://youtu.be/cytl8l83O7k

Gary Tamblyn

I think this episode is a good send off and it works as a last episode. Even though it's a little open ended, the health inspector seeing the rat would imply he closed the place down. That's a good enough end for me

Danny

When you do a poll for a new show i recommend you add One Foot The Grave to it

jack

Definitely hope Josh reacts to Porridge at some point, but there's actually 18 episodes and a movie (and also a separate pilot if you count it, the episode "Prisoner and Escort" from the series "Seven of One").

Manly Stump

I recommend Porridge for a future show to react to. It's 12 episodes, starring Ronnie Barker from the Two Ronnies. Similar in feel to OFAH and still holds up well today. Its always in the top 5 all time list for British Comedies along with Fawlty Towers and OFAH. Like if you want the show to make the list so Josh can see.

Richard Carter

Just loved watching these with you!! That damn fake rat in the biscuit tin had me in hysterics from a young age! 47 now and still has me shaking!!🤣 That and basil prancing about saying "the cat lives the cat lives!!" 😂😂😂

Claire Prowse

he said at the beginning of this video that movies will replace this on a sunday

Cherzo

What did you think was the best episode?

Joe Jerome

Great series and great reactions Josh, I know it seems like I'm pressuring you but that is not my intention. But does this open an opportunity for the Top Gear specials?

Daniel French

Can't believe your at the end of the series. Really great British show so hilarious. I've always wanted a third season.
