Besides some of the gross stuff, this was a really good episode lol. Karl spoke about being a harsh critic of his own work, in regards to his DIY projects. I can definitely relate when it comes to anything I do. I know a few of you could probably say the same. As someone who draws, paints and dabbles with 3D design and animation, I could never understand some categories of art. I've seen people cry from art and think wow am I a monster why doesn't this make me cry lol. I guess that's what separates people who are just creative and people who are artists. Because anything I create feels like an amalgamation of something that already exists instead of something truly unique. Who knows though art is such a subjective thing Β―\_(γ)_/Β―. There are so many funny moments in this episode. Season 2 is really off to a great start. I really enjoyed watching Karls's art journey good to hear someone say the things most of us think lol.

I know what you mean, I'm pretty good at staying focussed on one thing except for my writing. I write stories mostly but whenever I start one I get loads of ideas for another one and end up losing interest in the previous one so I find it difficult to ever finish them lol. I still enjoy doing it either way though so it is what it is :)

There are a serious amount of hours there, it is amazing because you get to hear all Karls stories about growing up, monkey news, he just has to talk about anything and it is funny. His inability to understand the concept of infinity and thinking wonderful tonight is about "a little disabled fella" are gold. You will get very used to hearing "you're an idiot play a record" :)

It seemed like the shows budget had been slashed massively. Previous series had him going all over the world in one episode. The choice of people for Karl to visit were awful and boring. Those dog poop guys were terrible! They was just causing trouble sticking toys in dog shit! Imagine how many kids would pick those toys up and gotten shit all over their hands! Why not just clean the damn shit up if they were so bothered about it. Final straw for me was the sick woman, I just turned over. I hated it that much I never watched the rest of the series.

2020-07-13 23:16:02 +0000 UTCI think what I love about the moaning of life and especially this episode is how much Karl has grown as a person since those early days at xfm. There is no chance in hell that Karl at 30 would've even thought about doing that performance art in times square, and yet he got right into it. Travel really did broaden his mind. this is definitely true with one activity he does in the next episode. And i came across a great show the other day and binged the whole thing, i think you'd like it. Its called murder in successville, its a spoof Cop/Murder mystery show. each week they have a different celebrity guest who has no idea what is going on and they have to improvise their way through the story and solve the murder mystery. the cast has a script and they leave all the bloopers in and just roll with it when someone breaks character. Its well worth checking out. theres a couple of clips on youtube, but not much.

Kudos to you for finding so many outlets for your creativity . Being a creative person is tuff if you don't do something with it . I have the bad habit of starting 5 different projects and zig zaging between them as I get bored lol .I agree it is very nice having creative hobbies even if it's not anything original.

I paint, draw, write, enjoy photography and make candles, lotions, cards and wax melts. I just do it for my own enjoyment and to make gifts for family and friends, it's nice to have a creative hobbies - even if we're not creating anything truly original. As you say, it's all subjective any way.
