(a late) DEMO UPDATE ... and some Dev Blog Things

First things first:  DEMO LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST!

I ended up cutting the end of chapter one a bit earlier than planned for the purposes of storytelling; I think it would have been a bit too clunky otherwise? In the end chapter one topped out at about 51k words, which now puts the total demo count at 68k & each playthrough averaging 18k words! Wahoo!

The finished chapter includes You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger (named Modi) at the port, definitely not having a mental breakdown at a coffee shop, and definitely not having a mental breakdown before work. Normal stuff! Enjoy!

Next, a short explanation & apology:

If you follow me on Tumblr, you may know why this ended up a bit later than planned - and why I've been dead on here, there, and the forums too. If you don't, here you go:

A few weeks ago I got a hairline fracture in my elbow because I closed a door on it. But wait, there's more: on Sunday I tested positive for COVID! Again! 

COVID round two ended up being...not as bad as when I had it for the first time back in December, but different? Less coughing, shorter and lower fever, but horrible abdominal cramping. I'm on day 5, going into 6, and pretty much back to 100%? I think? But being a health care worker I know that this is probably not the last time it happens so...ah. C'est la vie.

tldr; thank you for your patience! Thank you for your love and well wishes/thoughts/anything! Thank you for being here! Hopefully the new and improved and finished(!) chapter one makes up for it. Please bear in mind that I was finishing the editing with a fever mid-Corona, so...if things are funky, tell me right away and I will fix it as soon as I can!
