Well it was not in a closed off area. It was an open field the poison gas just blew away? Lol it's magic hot air doesn't effect her and the wood was clean burning.

Pycelle is loyal to himself. He is however, observant. I do think he was a friend to Aerys, but if his life is on the line, he forsakes friendship for survival. He's a coward.

It's one thing to be immune to fire, but she'd at least have passed out from smoke inhalation :D

I love the scene with Pyp, Grenn, Sam, and Jon. When the show started Pyp and Grenn hated Jon, but now they like him and do not want him to die for desertion. They get Jon's anger, but they know that if he commits to joining with Robb, he will be subject to execution.
I love how bored Ros was with Pycelle. XD. Also he puts on an act of being senile and decrepit, he's actually very self aware, but pretends to be the way he is to protect himself from anyone who would perceive him as a political threat.
Baelish and Varys' scenes are always entertaining. The two admire and respect one another, but they also despise one another.
The guy that stood up for Arya- err Ari the boy, is Gendry aka Robert's bastard son. Ned found him earlier when he was working in a blacksmithy.
It's also worth noting that Khal Drogo's closest fighters remained loyal to Dany and Drogo, even though the bulk of the Dothraki deserted and separated into their own varying factions. Drogo did a lot of terrible things, so I don't feel bad for him. I do however, feel bad for Dany. The Witch's actions are understandable, but likewise I get why Dany had her killed. There are a lot of grey areas to examine with this bunch.
Dany lost her son and husband, but now has 3 heckin good sky bois. Mind you, those baby dragons are going to need time to grow and no doubt opportunistic men will want to claim them or kill them. Dany also survived, because fire cannot burn her. As some mentioned before, we had hints of that.

I mean, kind of. Pre-madness Aerys is described as good natured but increasingly eccentric, he’d come up with insanely ambitious projects for Tywin to look into (let’s invade the wildlings and build a second wall further north, for one) before he’d lose interest. Tywin, Steffon (Robert’s dad) and Aerys were also good friends ever since fighting in a war together when they were young, and Tywin watched his friend deteriorate into a paranoid tyrant who’d make passes at his wife and call him a servant to his face. Was probably harder after Steffon died too.

So they dropped hints tho out the show. When daenerys went into the boiling bath she didn't get burn also when she was holding the hot dragon egg and her servant took it away from her. The servants hands where burned not daenerys, her hands where fine.. also when her brother got the melted gold poured on him " crown for a king " he died and daenerys said something like . He was not a true dragon, fire can't kill a dragon. . So yea heat 🔥 can't kill her . Fire can't kill dragons and she is the mother/queen of dragons . Long may she regin.

Hearing pycelle talk about the mad king " watching him melt away" I wonder if pycelle was loyal and loved aerys. But let aerys die out of kindness. Like old yeller. The good king went mad... does anyone know like in the books was aerys a good king or was he always mad... I know the aerys in house of dragon was a kind king

Dragons yes, but baby dragons, gonna take time for them to actually be a threat.
Also, just in case you didn't notice, the blacksmith's apprentice that Arya was talking to was the same one that her father checked in on at the blacksmith because he's one of the King Robert's bastards. He's still got the bull head helmet he made that he showed Ned.
