Chrome mentioned it, but yeah Kazuma and Megumin are only 2 years apart, and are both very much underage, its where the running gag for Megumin not being able to drink while Kazuma downs alcohol on the daily comes from, since technically neither are of legal age yet. In fact if you want a reason not to think about the age gaps, Darkness is 18 and the guild girl is in her 20ies, them getting with Kazuma would be the real creepy thing. As always, the universe (or just a higher power) doesn't let the gang have anything good for long, i'd call it stepping in shit but honestly the shit just keeps falling into their soup at this point, and its always hilarious

2024-07-29 19:12:37 +0000 UTCIt's so weird looking up kazuma and megumin's ages. Apparently all the characters were older in the source material but got aged down for the anime. But even in the anime, kazuma is 17 and she's 15 so it's fine I think in the source, he's 20 and she's 17 but they've all had birthdays since then so it's not inappropriate. But anyway, the adaptations do this weird thing where they change ages but nothing else. So in this episode kazuma can drink and megumin can't because in the source he's 20 and she's not. But here, technically neither should be able to drink lol. But anyway, technically they're not an adult kid ship. They're both teens. But the age changes make everything weird. I don't think you're supposed to think too much about it . If you watch the megumin spinoff, you'll notice she always looked younger than her peers.

2024-07-29 16:58:25 +0000 UTCI'm so glad we're back to Konosuba, you're going to love season 3, the expressions in this season are just fantastic. Also I think you're forgetting but there's only a 2 year age difference between Kazuma and Megumin.

2024-07-29 14:09:27 +0000 UTCCurtis, don't know if you remember from the movie but Sylvia (the chimera girl) had the full male package downstairs so Kazuma has ptsd from when he was pretty close to getting boned by her. It's why he freaked out when the guy came up behind him. Good thing all he needed was an infinite money treasure to cure his trauma heh.
