The Great Library [Part 01] - Map Pack

Hey everyone! This time we’re traveling to a place known for its collection of knowledge in three-map series The Great Library

Here’s the first part.

"In your line of work, it isn’t unlikely to be given an undercover mission. Your employer tapped you on the shoulder and gave you the task to sniff around the suspicious library. You walk up to the front double-doors and look up in awe at the grand glass gate.
With each step down the staircase that’s cascaded with a crimson carpet, you take in the grandiose atmosphere. Countless leather-bound books packed tightly on their shelves, candelabras flickered in the dusty air, and then your eyes snap forward... a mystical flame burns brightly at the far end of the library. “That’s... peculiar,” you mutter to yourself.
Nothing seems out of the ordinary, until while perusing through dust-covered spellbooks and papers, you overhear a group of suspicious men whispering in the dark corners of the library. They’re covertly making way deeper into the library, as if to avoid people’s gazes."
What do you think might be at play in the library? Are there any hidden depths to uncover? Let us know how you plan on using this dust-filled map!

Comments

We do keep a certain pathing in mind when we create the map, but you are obviously free to use them any way you like. The library was structured with part 1 having 2 locked doors left and right at the end. Each of these doors would lead to part 02 (one being a duplicate of part 02). Once in part 02 they would activate a mechanism at the statue that would reveal a hidden passageway. If players were to go in, it would lead to part 03. Part 03 has an entrance left and right, depending on whether you're in the left or right (duplicate) part 02, you'll end up left or right.

These maps are beautiful but I do have a question: how do they connect to each other or are the connections not really shown and they are assumed to just be separate rooms of a larger library?

I'm in the same boat as Loyd. I saw these library maps and knew I had to join immediately. Great work!
