april postcards sent out! also 3-year patreon anniversary

also it turns out i've been on patreon for three years since... march (last month) actually... didn't realise until earlier today when i was looking through my postcard backlog. 

as a quick overview, here's the stuff i've done with your support since then!

• released over 25 little games (it's at the point where it's kind of annoying scrolling through my itch.io dashboard because there are too many projects on it...)
• released two of those games on consoles (which is still incredibly cool to me - it always blows my mind that i can play my games on the nintendo switch)
• commissioned paid translations so that more people can play my games! i made the decision last year to only put translations that i can pay for in my games & your continued support here is a big part of why i was able to make this decision
• drawn 36 monthly postcards! as somebody who honestly still finds it very hard to draw i'm surprised i've managed to draw this much...

there's a lot of other less tangible stuff, just like... having more confidence in making games because i know you're here supporting me, which leads to me feeling ok about investing more time & effort into game dev too, since i know there are definitely people who want to play my games. it helps me be brave enough to release on steam, even though i'm anxious about the audience there not being as friendly as on itch.io. i also just feel a bit less alone, since game dev is a pretty solitary thing & i spend a lot of time just staring at my computer by myself. knowing that you will also be at your computer playing my game when it comes out makes me feel a bit more connected to the world even when i'm just typing lines & lines of dialogue into vs code late into the night.
