Major update of the Patreon system
Added 2022-12-18 11:45:37 +0000 UTCThe system of codes I introduced in the early days of EF was really problematic: easy to fool (it's just a code you can share), and quite tedious to maintain. Two years ago, however, I introduced a connexion between Patreon and EroFights, that you can set up in your EroFights settings. As we realized some users were still using the system of code to access patreon modes when they shouldn't be able to, I'm rolling out the system of codes entirely. This means, if you want to enjoy the perks of Patreon, you must use the link that can be created in the settings. Honestly, it's a win, it's just easier, and more precise :)
It also means a few more things:
- Now, you'll be given EF credits each month you participate in the patreon. One euro is equivalent to 20 credits. These credits have already been distributed to people who connected their accounts.
- You'll now need to buy packs as normal users. The previous system was weird and not really fair, and as we are starting to have more packs, I want something more logical.
- Your badge will no longer be "Patreon" but will depend on how much money you gave overall. That means, if you are an EroTease, you'll start with an EroTease badge, but after a few monthes, get a an "EroFighter", an "EroVIP", "EroSponsor"... And more..
- The "Content Tester" is not a thing anymore. People who had access to Patreon games outside of the Patreon link, through this code, will no longer have access to them. If you need to get back this access (staff), ask Winston or me, who can set permissions back for you, but the code will no longer work.
- It doesn't affect how other features like search or commands are already given.

So I got my credit's last month, but I haven't this month, did anything change, or is there something I can do to fix them?
