Celebrity Casting: 'Christina' from Expo Girl
Added 2021-05-02 02:58:21 +0000 UTCFor this character, I wanted to move away from the impossibly-skinny K-pop idol aesthetic and look for a Korean beauty influencer/model who was a bit more voluptuous. Meet: Malang Sun-Hwa, a 26-year-old yoga/fitness/beauty model and Instagram Influencer from South Korea. I think she comes pretty close to the ideal of what I think 'Christina' would look like on screen, though to be a fully-accurate representation of the character on the page you might have to imagine her face slightly rounder, her eyebrows a bit more arched, and her mouth a bit fuller... and with long, flowing, glossy black hair. If you compare photos 1 (original) and 2 (edited) in the gallery above, you can see a bit more of what the character actually looks like in my head in the second photo.
