I'm still alive, I swear!

Just want people who pop on here to know that most of my posts are currently through the Patreon subsection on my Discord server!

I will be updating my tiers at some point in the near future because I'm going to start doing some bases for VR avatars. For the most part, access to these bases will be exclusive to patrons for a couple of months, before I list them for sale publicly. I want to try and make a new base every 2-3 months if I can, and just have a steady stream of content in general going forward.

Now, speaking of stream...

I've not really been streaming at all for a while now. I know it'd be nice to get back into doing them again, but I'm honestly not cut out for that, I don't have the energetic vibe that's required to be a good streamer. Sure, I'd like to think that I'd at least be able to stream for a few hours every Monday through to Thursday, but there's not much that I have to offer for meaningful content, and without engagement, it gets boring for people to watch real quick. I'm probably just approaching all of this wrong, though.

And yeah, I don't intend on opening up for any commissions any time soon, unless it's an absolute emergency and there's no alternative. I honestly don't enjoy being under pressure to deliver something that I know isn't going to do justice for whatever design I'm given. I need to be realistic here, I don't have the knowledge, the tools, or patience to be able to deliver something that's not just unique, but also something that justifies the price tag for a custom model, whether that be for texturing, particular elements (feathered wings), let alone a style that has appeal.

The only thing I can really do at the moment is remix the stuff that I've already made, and those are generally just adopts. At least with those, they're done and once they're sold, I don't really need to touch them (unless something breaks).

I haven't forgotten about any of the commissions that are long overdue, and I know, I need to just.. do them and get them over and done with.

But yeah...

I don't want to give up entirely on being an artist, because this is all I've got, but I need to find something that is a bit healthier for me, and be able to enjoy what I do again. Hopefully I'll have more to share soon, gods forbid some disaster or other that happens that pretty much dooms me to be completely tethered to the circumstances of others with no way out.
