Incredible work Mike, time for me to get reading up before the season starts!

Alex G

Gleyber wanted nothing more than to remain a Yankee. He hastened his own exit. If he had been more open to playing 3B and tried it out, then they in turn might have been open to bringing him back.

MikeD

Yes thanks Mike. Always look forward to this.

Eric Hendrickson

Incredible work as always Mike !

Dan G

We're born again, there's new Top 30 Prospects in my inbox

W.B. Mason Williams

Same review mentions Gleyber taking reps at 3B in Trenton to increase versatility - ironically part of his undoing with the Yankees was his unwillingness to move to 3B when they acquired Jazz to play second base 7 years later.

Thanks Mike, great stuff! I think we all need to agree to call Domínguez El Marciano rather than the Martian. It sounds cooler and there’s something to the Spanish-speaking nicknames.

Tyler

Great work, as always. And it reads fine on mobile.

Anthony Cirillo

Thank you, Mike! Your top 30 list has become an augury of spring over the past decade!

Mark Davis

Very much enjoying going through the RAB archives, and seeing Judge at #3 pre-2017, behind Gleyber and Frazier. "The upside here, even with the inevitable strikeouts, is a middle of the order force with solid corner outfield defense." I'll say!

Will

I just read it during work but don't tell anybody :x

Top 30 Prospects is celebrated as a national holiday at my house. I call in sick from work so I can focus on Mike's detailed analysis. Thanks again.

James

Thank you Mike!!! Your commitment to the entire Yankees org has always amazed me

Ryan Price

I’ve seen a couple of evaluators comment that due to the truncation of the minor leagues, players are being placed in spots they previously would not have. I assume it would change how you evaluate a players development?

Joseph F

One of my favorite columns every year!

David from Sunny Jax

It's so easy to dream on Spencer Jones. The Judge comp is really unfair, but if he begins to get the K% under control the Yankees prospect rankings will skyrocket.

The Original Drew

Always appreciated. Always interesting. A weekend of reading. I can only imagine how long it takes to research and write. I do wonder if the minor league contraction from a couple seasons back is slowing the development of some of these toolsy, high-end prospects.

MikeD

Is it "Ed-Gleen" or "Edge-leen"? Asking the important questions, as ever. Also, "The Hess Truck" is the perfect, ready-made nickname.

I'm Not The Droids You're Looking For

I look forward to this every year and it really takes me back to the early RAB days falling in love with prospects. Thank you for all the work that goes into these, I’m sure it’s an astronomical effort.

MikeM

Excellent as always. It worked well on mobile for me, so don't worry

John G

Thank you for hours of scrolling pleasure!!!
