Added 2019-07-02 08:39:29 +0000 UTCTuesday: Hi folks. I've been stuck in the hospital all night and I'm due to have my appendix taken out ... soon. They haven't told me when, exactly, but soon. Here's my view for the night:
#YankeesOnly lifestyle forever and ever. Even from a hospital bed in the hallway.
Anyway, Tuesday's regular post is going to be pushed back to Wednesday. They told me I'll be able to go home a few hours after surgery, so Wednesday should be fine.
Sorry for the delay, and thanks as always for the support.
Wednesday: There was a complication with my surgery (my appendix was behind my colon rather than vice versa) which turned a routine 30-minute procedure into a three-hour ordeal. They're keeping me here for observation for a few days, so I need to punt this week. Sorry. I'll get things back up and running as soon as I can. Thanks for understanding.
