[Audio] What does "good" sound like?
Added 2023-07-09 00:38:23 +0000 UTCI went for a motorbike ride today and tested out the GoPro again with a different audio setup.
I put packing tape over the mic holes. I hypothesized this would result in a very bass-y sound because the higher frequencies would be blocked by the tape.
I was right! You can see/hear the results of the test here.
The resulting wind noise actually doesn't sound too bad. But would removing more of the high frequencies make it sound even better? Let's find out!
The resulting audio sounds a bit like the inside of a spaceship, which is delightful. I could see (or hear, ha!) using this for an RP aboard a spaceship or something.
