Hi, I'm back from my travel week to Amsterdam ( for Blender Fondation Gooseberry open-movie project preproduction ) and then one week in Brussel ( for Flossmanuals, to write an open manual for the Blender Game Engine ). Today, I finished the storyboard of the 3rd episode of Pepper&Carrot and I wanted to share a bit of informations here with you. This is just a little step in my production, but also an important one, because now I can start the drawing production. I painted the storyboard very roughtly on my computer with Krita. This method allows me to change text, insert panels, change composition or rewrite parts of the story till I'm happy with it. It's very flexible, and I like it. I had to redo it almost 3 time before being happy ( not redo from scratch, but changed full scenes, rewrite dialogs, switch panels geometry, etc... ). Episode 3 introduce slowly an overall backstory to the universe of Pepper&Carrot. But each episode still are working in stand-alone with their own gag and ending. Now, I'll switch on paper with pencil to redraw from scratch each panels with the quality of Episode 2. And even more if I can. I join here two panels of the storyboard with blured text to not spoil the story yet. The full story will have around 24 frames ; and it's a lot because it's two time the lenght of my previous Episode 2. Episode 3 will also introduce : * a new character ; Saffron, a rich urban witch. * a new place : Komona city, during market I'm doing my best for a release on start September ; but half-September might be more realistic with all the challenge I setup for myself. Thanks all again for your support !
