Part 2 is coming right along.

Hello all!

So, as you may be able to spot from the image, Part 2 has no more raw audio and everything is in place except the remaining visuals and soundtrack on the second half which is the very time consuming part. 

I was editing while sitting in a call with a friend and I realised that I had made a snarky remark in the timeline and wanted something to suit it. After searching through some of the clips, I realised that what I was aiming for, was a laugh but probably from Jabba and the friend was referencing the really deep ones that are like....classic Jabba. 

Like the one where he laughs at Leia's Thermal Detonator etc. But I was thinking of the one where it's about 1 minute into the Rancor fight and he gives of this snarky laugh, so I went and found it and attached it to the small 3 word comment.......

The point of me sharing this is that it took me a handful of minutes to decide on and find what I felt was a relevant visual to attach to 1 second of the timeline which is looking to be 2 hours and 20 minutes and I have been trying to maintain that idea throughout the timeline like in Part 1. 

It's tough to get through quickly......and there are other things to get done of course. I have been doing some prep work for the scripts to come ready for April Fools, i'm getting more and more excited about making what is planned for that day. 

Other than that, I am currently editing another Audio Commentary as well, set to release on Valentines Day and then, we had the 11 hour EFAP episode. 

Interestingly, if you didn't know; 

In the past 2 weeks, I have had a whole bunch of media from people taking me to task, it is so odd that when I started this Patreon, I would be lucky to see any engagement with fans and people who wanted to share criticism, but now it's almost trendy to tackle me and my view on Art in a video. 

And of course, more power to them, I just wish there was more accuracy. We took the breakdown of my work apart on EFAP, plenty of references and context to really alter what criticisms there were to the point of deflating them completely. 

What I can take away is to simultaneously be more explicit and shorten the scripts. But I imagine, just like Star Wars as a topic, we on EFAP will be make sure, responding to criticism is spread out. The next one is planned to be an EFAP Gaming to have us some good old fashioned fun. 

EFAP is really quite a popular stream at this point compared to how I thought it would run, it is essentially evolving beyond just being a casual stream that is supplementary to the channel and becoming its on thing with it's own fan base.

We have loads of plans for the future in that regard, being covering more critics in general and offering what we consider to be strengths and flaws while having all sorts of guests on and hopefully holding some friendly debates on media in general. 

I realise that as I move on in this whole career thing, it's never quite what I plan and all of what I have been talking about is a big part of that, but it hasn't stopped being extremely interesting. 

Part 2 for the TFA series will be released at the end of February. In the next update, I will hopefully have a specific date and time for you guys.

Other than that, I recently gave a small update or two for the goals, I changed the 500 one to be media in a general sense rather than a specific series because with my current work ethic, I will have to find a different outlet to commit to something like that in future but I will absolutely have the potential to cover anything in a general sense. 

There will be a designated Q and A video for 500 and 1000, I was hoping to commit to making that as soon as I finished the TFA series and I suppose that is still the case. Just so much to do right now that I am trying to focus the "right" thing at all times. 

In the mean time, there will be a few more EFAP episodes here and there and a new Audio Commentary that me and Alex took some care with, so hopefully it works out :) / 

I shall now return to the visual editing and next time I will hopefully be talking about how Part 2 is very near completion. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel folks, catch yah next time.
