I undereat all the time from anxiety and stress vs over eat. It’s not the best! So remind yourself of that. There are people agree than me who are WORLDS healthier than me. So definitely come to terms of like, weight doesn’t equate to health. Maybe if you find a good routine of working out at a safe gym with people you like? Even just a light walk outside to get into a different headspace. You can be larger and strong! (Look up Diego Lopez, he does jujitsu and has cool kettlebell workouts! He’s been a guest here before) Xx

Not all of them come from horrific backgrounds, YKNOW? Yes fostering can lead to adoption. I’ve had family friends that have adopted from fostering THREE TIMES before having their own child. You said you didn’t think your gf and you are lasting long, and honestly, do it or don’t! Giving children safe spaces and a home is super important. It doesn’t have to make your relationship heavy. You guys don’t live together, you have boundaries. It’s okay if you can’t hang one week or can. Having your own kids one day (however you do it get her adoption or birth) will be so fucking hard. A different type of hard than fostering. I think you’re overthinking it. Which is good? Cus it’s a big thing? But you can also just try it! If your gf and stuff doesn’t work out- it might’ve not survived any other harder life event (not even just kids). Clearly you want to do this, I think you should do it. It will not remove the joy and specialness when you have bio kids later. My husband isn’t the bio dad to our two kids- and the oldest was five when we met and I was pregnant dude! And my experience as a mother did not take away from our relationship at all. If anything it helped us navigate the hard parenting stuff and helped me find new joys with the second child by having a partner! Him and I are 30, btw. Same age. I get it. There’s no rush for kids. Tbh I wish I had hit 30 before having them! You’re worlds more ahead than me financially because of the wait. There’s always going to be pros and cons. Just weigh out what is important for you. I say go for it. You might really make a difference for these kids, and you’ll attract the right kind of partner for what you want in the future.
