Change in update schedule

I've been thinking on it for a while and I've come to the conclusion it's in my best interest to start releasing Boys Love Boys' Love once a week instead of twice.

Not that I think my decision needs and "excuse," but I do think my supporters deserve an explanation!

My tenosynovitis has been flaring up really badly to the point that just holding a game controller causes pain, and in an effort to keep it from getting worse I have been drawing for shorter amounts of time and stretching a lot.

Even without the health concern, I've been feeling as though the update schedule doesn't give me time to plan or develop things as fully as I want before I have to start drawing them out. I feel like I've been sacrificing experimenting and growing for speed/completion, and it's making me feel like I'm not doing my best. I want to put more of what inspires me into my work, but that means taking the time to analyze those inspirations and fold them into the story I've built so far.

Honestly, for Patrons, this will change things only for the better. Since I won't be straining to maintain the buffer, I'll have time to draw extra fun stuff. Pin up sets, prints, fan content, and stuff for my game too. Pages may not come quite as quickly, but when they do the quality will be higher. Same with any full illustrations- outside of cover pages I really haven't done many in the year+ I've been doing the comic simply because I don't have time.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who reads and pledges, I get nervous putting myself out there like this. Seeing comment notifications can give me anxiety, I won't lie- I've been online long enough to know how mean a place it can be- but the response to blbl has been insanely positive and I'm just .... so fully delighted that people want to share in and engage with this project of mine. Giving myself more time will help me love it better, and help me remember what my goals are with it outside of meeting my self-imposed deadlines.

Thank you again for your support!! And make sure you check your emails for Dropbox notifications!! You'll be getting more of them soon!!

Don't mention it! Your health should always come first.
