Clone Wars Episode 303 (005) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

It's Sunday!

Happy timezone everyone!!  My fears have come true... Jar Jar has appeared.  Lets just say I'm glad these episodes are short lol

I like seeing political dealings in Star Wars for some reason, though I feel I get angry at the Seperatists when they lie!  Then again, the Republic also lies but that's ok.  Definitely no double standard there at all :/

I do expect the Jedi to lose some battles at some point, in the sense that a planet will side with the Dooku.  I specify the Jedi because I am not rooting for the Republic, but mostly Obi-Wan and Anakin, and they are Jedi.

If I have time today, I want to make some delicious chocolate chip cookies since I have chocolate chips left.  Afterwards, is my time to start getting in shape and eating healthier!

All I ask is that you don't give spoilers.  I'll be creating forum posts separated into seasons once we get into the Holocron Trilogy (that starts at season 2, episode 1) so it's not just 1 massive forum post for ALL of Clone Wars.  I'm following the Chronological order of the series:

I hope the weekend was nice and that Monday isn't a bad start to the week

That's the jedi master's name?! That's hilarious!! It's so perfect for his character 😂 I feel like they couldn't have made Jar Jar worse than Episode 1, so I'm trying to stay open to Jar Jar being in some episodes. I'm really glad I'm watching in the chronological order, it would be pretty confusing to have seen episode 101, then 2 seasons later see this one that precedes it lol

Jar Jar is always a certain level of cringe, but I feel they made him more capable in the Clone Wars show so he's not quite as inept and useless as he was in the movies. The Clone Wars is a long show and is naturally bound to have some dud episodes, and Jar Jar may or may not be part of some of them "maybe that's how General Grievous got his swords". Yes, General Grievious took lightsabers from jedi he's killed. He's not a force user so he doesn't have his own lightsaber. Yes the domino squad will be a key group of clones that we care about, but the show in general makes you more attached to the clones as a whole, with some standout individuals. Ryloth is a pretty important planet in the TV shows so that's one that you'll be familiar with. The next episode is technically the first episode of the show that was released but it only happens because the Toydarians were willing to change their neutrality because of this episode which is why the order can get confusing, but you're doing it the right way. All will be explained The jedi master in this episode, his name is Ima Gun Di...as in I'm a gonna die. Obviously this was his one appearance but the name always gives me a chuckle

That's exactly what I'm hoping will happen with being able to see with the Clone Wars, heroes from both sides. I didn't think I would like the politics, but I'm actually looking forward to all of it. I'm hoping for some backstabbing and sneaky underhanded tactics! I would love to find characters that are with the seperatists that I cheer for

I personally don't mind Jar Jar myself so It's interesting that George brought him back in The Clone Wars. Phil LaMarr and Ahmed Best voice Jar Jar in the series with Ahmed Best being the original actor of Jar Jar from the prequal. Phil LaMarr is also a really good Jar Jar as well who does a bunch of Voice overs from John Stewart/Green Lantern and Static Shock in the DC Animated Universe to Samurai Jack, and Hermes Conrad from Futurama to name a few. Do really like the politics as well and this episode will lead into the first episode of the series Season 1 Episode 1 which you'll watch next. The Clone Wars also does a good job at showing the different sides. The movies treat the separatists as an evil group yet the a message in the opening crawl of Revenge of the Sith is "There's Hero's on Both Sides" yet we never see that in the movie. Thankfully the Clone Wars does a better job with all of this.
