dang, the fight you missed out on in chapter 1 was unfortunately really cool! i guess it's too late to go back now, unless you wanna do some save file hopping just to experience the content. if so, i just recommend examining the castle elevator more closely!

So so so pumped for Silent Hill it’s going to be such a blast (once you get the hang of the tank controls) Hope you’ve been keeping well, I’ve been rewatching the Alien Isolation episodes a lot as I’m hyper fixating on Alien in prep to seeing Romulus next weekend it looks sooooo good!

These games have been a blindspot for me, but the way you've been approaching them makes me feel like I'm seeing them at their best. Also, perfect timing on the Silent Hill playthrough. I need to finally play it before the remake of SH 2 comes out.

2024-08-23 19:50:54 +0000 UTCthere's no way haha i was just thinking about whether you'd upload deltarune next i played silent hill 2 on an emulator, the pcxs2 one. the european director's cut release is widely regarded to be the best! https://r-roms.github.io/megathread/sony/ i got my rom of it from this site, you go to the ps2 redump (S part 2) section and it's in there. super easy to set up, worked really well. also comes with the bonus Born from a Wish content, it's a small dlc (like an hour and a half) that you can play after the game. hope this helps! edit: just wanna add on to what Alexander said about the HD releases; they're really not the ideal way to play. the original voice acting is gone as well as a lot of the atmosphere, you'd get no end of people pestering you about it if you played those ones so it's best to steer clear lmao

2024-08-23 19:41:04 +0000 UTCEmulation is generally your best bet for the SH games, yeah. SH2 and 3 do have the HD release but they're kind of notorious for the changes made being poorly received (to put it lightly) so playing the originals on emulator is still the best option
