This month's Patreon release includes more than usual --
With the release of Avatars 3.0 on VRC, I realized a few things:
1) Avatars 3.0 is pretty good, opens a lot of stuff to the user.
2) Man, those default animations really blow. (Sorry guys.)
So, with the next few releases, I'm going to aim to solve that. I'm going to be spending a lot of time animating new animations sets from the ground up.
This month, I am including a few things to really kick this off.
4 way directional Falling, and Jumping, for both standing and crouched states, along with an experimental Viseme override controller that will replace how your Visemes work entirely.
A full list of animations included thus far:
Along with these animations, and the associated drag-and-drop controllers, I'm also providing the blender file I used to animate these in. This includes a full IK rig, and a base mesh to work with.
I've also made a video, as you can see above, that covers everything and shows you how to set things up for your own avatar. (Pro tip, going to the video on youtube has sections in the timeline you can click on if you're only interested in a certain part of the video!)
Make sure to just extract the folder into your Unity project, otherwise you'll have a loose blender file!
Hope you all enjoy, and hopefully I am a good enough animator to make some decent walk/run cycles for the next release!
