Patreon Shader 1/6/2020 | That Playstation Mood / Announcement

GREETINGS PATRONS!!

This month, I'm providing you all with a "Playstation" shader - this will allow you to round your vertex positions to provide the jittery look of old playstation games, as well as lower the color depth and resolution of your textures. 


Not only that, the shader also utilizes "Affine" texture mapping, which provides a slight distortion to the texture at steep angles to the polygon.

This shader does support lightmapping - so you can use it in your worlds.

Now, for the announcement.

Very soon, XSOverlay, a project I've been working on for the past 3 months will be entering an extended testing state. This means that all $10+ patrons will be able to grab a steam key for the application early, before it releases on Steam; this will help to find bugs, and support development of the application.

This steam key *will* be permanent, and will never be revoked.

XSOverlay is an application built from the ground up to interact and feel as good as Dash, but for SteamVR. It supports many quality of life and comfort features that competitors such as OVRToolkit do not, such as recentering the windows, fluid movement and management of windows, and a few more things.

If you'd like to support development of XSOverlay, there will be more information in the coming days.
