Patron Supporter Listing changes!
Added 2019-05-30 16:23:44 +0000 UTCAs of recently, I've moved to using my Discord bot to keep track of who is and who isn't a patron, for a multitude of reasons.
The first being that working with Patreons API to make a list of Patrons in the Unity Editor is super annoying, as the best way I found to do it was download a csv file containing a list, and that comes with it's own issues, which leads me to my second reason.
The second reason is that this allows people to have whatever name they want on the list, as it grabs the current nickname of the user in the discord server.
(The aformentioned CSV file gave me the name of the user's patreon account, which could be first name, or could be their handle, but a lot of people made it first name, which is not ideal for a supporter list!)
As a patron, you will now be granted the "Patron" role when entering the server, for any tier. All this does is tag you for the bot to grab your name.
The bot will update the list every 12 hours.
The supporter list can be found in "Tools > Xiexe > XSToon > About && Updater" under the "Social" panel, and the new changes will only take effect on v2.0.5+ of XSToon.
