Virgin River 3X2: Sticky Feet
Added 2025-08-11 22:15:52 +0000 UTCI'm starting to get concerned that Hope is not actually on this show anymore. Hopefully they are not writing her out. I could kind of see that actually as her character is fairly unlikeable and it would makes sense if people were turned off by her, but I'm rooting for good things for her. I'd be sad if she died in this hurricane. And I'd be sad for Doc. Also, I was so sure it was Mel's cabin that burned. Not Jack's house. 😳
Anyway, Doc still can't get in touch with Hope. He's very anxious and concerned about it. Muriel bops over to check on him and while he's in the other room, she 100% snoops into his folder and it seems like she knows the secret; Doc is looking for a new doctor. I'm sure she doesn't know why though. The recruiter gets back to him and asks if he wants Mel to be in the interview with him, but Doc reminds her that this is anonymous (this is so the wrong wrong, but I cannot figure out the right one). The recruiter is surprised, but goes along with it.
It doesn't seem like Doc is pleased with either doctor he meets with. The first one plans to commute two hours to Virgin River everyday and he's not happy about that. I cannot remember why he didn't like the other one, but he definitely didn't.
Meanwhile, Jack is briefly staying with Mel while he figures out what he wants to do about a place to stay while waiting for his house to be rebuilt. She offers, several times, for him to stay with her, but he's afraid he'll overstay his welcome. Eventually, he decides to take her up on the offer. She's thrilled about it. She literally beams, when he says yes, but he doesn't seem quite as sold on it yet.
Charmaine shows up at the bar to tell Jack that he doesn't need to worry about rebuilding right away since her fiancé has a house nearby where they can all live. And they've discussed it and Jack and come and go as he pleases to see the kids. It seems like it's established that they'll be living with her, but Jack never got a say in this. Stay, this is better than what she claimed he was going to get, which was basically nothing.
Elsewhere, Ricky and Lizzie are busy trying to find a place to have sex, but Ricky is so paranoid about Connie finding out that it almost doesn't happen. (It actually might not have, we didn't get to see much).
And Paige sends some kind of letter to Preacher, but it was too fast and I couldn't read it. Maybe some sort of medical document?
Oh, and Jack's sister is all over Brady. Jack is gonna love that.
