On another note, one week from today marks the 5th anniversary of the Order of the Good Death! Can you BELIEVE it?! There are all kinds of goodies planned for next week, and you fine folk are the first to know.

People used to dig up dead bodies if a lot of others in the family had died, usually by sickness, to see if one of them was a vampire. If they saw what looked like nail and hair growth they would then burn the body.

2016-01-23 02:06:32 +0000 UTCOk, I'll bite. I think there are many products we use today to clean or protect us that we are taught to believe we need, that actually are not good for us. Do we need flame retardants on our mattresses, or are we inhaling toxins that cause liver cancer later? Crap in all kinds of cleaners, food preservatives, etc. I don't want to go down a crazy person rabbit hole, but I think you get the idea.
