Shameless 8X5: The (Mis)Education of Liam Fergus Beircheart Gallagher

That's a hell of a title.

Alright, so, I'm still feeling pretty much the same as I've been for most of this season so far. It's fine. There is literally nothing wrong with any of it, but it's just not the show I want to see.

I think the best thing about this episode was Fiona and Ian's fight about the end about who should get to buy the church. I was curious if Fiona would feel differently about it if she knew it was Ian who was looking to get it, but apparently not.

Carl just found out that his scholarship went to someone else. He needs something like $12,000 in three weeks. After he caught the their last episode, he's been helping him detox in the basement. Once he set him free, he came back with his girlfriend who also needed to detox. He gives Carl $5,000 and says her parents are going to send another $2500. Maybe he'll figure out how to get this money after all.

Kevin and V end up in yet another fight with Svetlana about the bar. They don't think she's paying them enough. She tells them she sells 3X what they do, so she's entitled to more money. Svetlana agrees to some of their terms, but only if V will sleep with her again. At first she says no, but it doesn't take long until she gives in.

Lip's sponsor ends up relapsing. When he goes to help him, he doesn't want Lip's help and orders him away. He goes to get in his car and Lip tries to stop him, so he beats Lip up in the street. Lip spends most of the night trying to find him, but no luck.

And fucking Debbie. Running around thinking she's hot shit. She's driving me crazy. Derek's mom has been watching Franny a lot. Debbie wants to go away for a couple of days to celebrate her exam with some people from class. Grandma agrees to watch her, but then Debbie sees that Derek and his girlfriend are there, and she takes Franny leaves. Then decides to take Franny with them on the trip, and is high on ecstasy before they even leave. Yeah, this is going to end well.

And Frank is still in some bizzaro universe. However, he's starting to chill out a little bit, but that's not saying much.
