Wildfire 1X11: Tina Sharp

So after the whole broken arm debacle, Kris' riding times are way down. But there is a race coming up that she wants to ride Wildfire in. Initially, Jean and Pablo tell her no. But later, Pablo tells her that if she beats the jockey's time they are thinking of hiring, they can discuss it.

Meanwhile, Tina Sharp shows back up and tries to befriend Kris, claiming that she doesn't have any girlfriends. She helps her train, but also gives her some Percocet since her arm is killing her. Kris tries to refuse, but Tina insists. After a couple more bad race times, Kris ends up taking them and blowing her old time away. As well as the other jockey they are considering.

Tina ends up talking to Jean about how it would be a good idea to let Kris ride in this race. As pretty soon, Kris is gonna be a superstar and moving on to greener pastures. Jean and Pablo discuss it. But ultimately, decide not to let her race. Kris argues that she's the best jockey since she beat the other guys time, but they tell her that Tina Sharp is actually going to be riding Wildfire and actually, she the best jockey.

Kris is shocked and hurt. And even more so, when Tina shows up all thrilled about it and can't understand why Kris is upset. Kris accuses her of seeing a great horse in Wildfire and manipulating her way into getting to win with him.

Anyway, on race day, Wildfire does end up winning with Tina riding. Kris is thrilled for Wildfire though. After the race, she tosses the pills. (I forgot to mention that while she was taking them, even though they helped her times, she was kind of a mess).

In other news, Dani thinks she's found their mother. And when she talks to Junior about her being Latina, Junior tells her that's not their mother, and shows her picture of her.

Kris and Junior are definitely dating now. And Tina is sort of having a fling with Matt.
