Weekly Progress #42

This Week's Finished Projects
This week, I finished the first Konosuba vid on the channel based on the lovable explosion girl, Megumin. Though I used black void for this map, I managed to use the “Oval Office” model from the SFM workshop. This cut a lot of the scene build down. I also decided to ask one of you guys what's the one place that Megumin should nuke in the video. Someone suggested “Gabe's house while he's uploading an announcement for Half Life 3.” I wasn't too happy about the model for Gabe, but I had no other choice. With that said, here are a few screen shots from the video.

Also this week, I finished the second t-shirt ad video, even though this one will be uploaded on the last day of t-shirt sales. For this video, I was proud of the set build used since I think it captured the feeling of being on a street corner. With that said, here are a few screenshots.

This Week's Ongoing Project
I got all of the lines for the Dragonball Super parody featuring Prince Vegeta, however, I'm still waiting for my friend to port all of the models I need for the video. The moment he does, I'll work on the video ASAP.

I spent the majority of the week working on the Attack on Titan parody. The video is comprised of two parts: one in a random village being attacked by Titans, and the other is a barrack where Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Levi are. Like the Eromanga video, this video is all scene builds. Unlike the Eromanga video, this was a tad more confusing to do since I have no idea how a barrack should look. I research some of Attack on Titan's barracks on Google and did the best I could from my research. There are no guarantees I'll finish the video by next week since this is very dialog heavy video. With that said, here are a few screenshots.

I began to work on the third and final t-shirt ad video featuring Plutia. Not going to lie, I think this is going to be the funniest of the three. The writing is much tighter than the previous two, Niko is voicing Plutia again, and Coffinjockey did a fantastic Irish Police guy impression. I anticipate I'll finish this by next week. With that said here's a screenshot.

Finally, I'm scouting out voice actors for the “Solaire The Cult Leader” video. Originally, I was going to ask Dryeguy to voice Solaire, but he starred in so many of my stuff, that I feel bad asking him to voice this one. Going to be tough finding someone that can pull off a Solaire voice, but I'll continue to look around.

This Week's New Ideas
I explained it in the First Year Anniversary post, but I'll explain it again here. To celebrate the one year anniversary on Patreon, I will be doing a special Patreon video. Again, you can read more about it here. I will say that I might expand the animation requests to more people if I think there aren't enough requests to fill the video.

Anyway! That's about it! Thanks you guys for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful day or night!
