Hehe, yeah, I can see the struggle lol Took the same approach when I was working on editing your skins for personal use ( the white lines issues when they were still there and my attempt to make a mix between Jester X and Y ) and man, trying to guess where Spine actually cut things and having to reload the game at each modifications to see the results... What a tedious and time consuming process ! All my respect for the work done. I know you're working with LL:E sometimes and since they seems to be making custom classes : don't they have access to Spine ressources that could ease the work on this part ? A Spine user license might be a bit overblown for work that do not modify the skeleton ( though maybe that can cut the need to reload the game everytime you need to check the changes ), I was more thinking about templates that shows exactly what parts of the sprite Spine is using, allowing you to immediately see if anything drawn outside of the original sprite silhouette is going to show up or not.
