I began this project with the intention of, for the first time being fearless and painting what I needed to paint without holding back. I figured I'd simply dive in and draw a figure and then work out the most delicious fetish outfit I could at the time.
As much as I love latex, I also love frilly latex and things like bloomers and so jumped in and painted 'Maid Ana' here.
I kept the background simple and concentrated on my digital painting techniques - trying to keep the brushwork loose to maintain the 'energy' of the piece.
When I was nearing the end of the painting I realised I could add more - so overpainted to give her a mask, much larger, more exposed breasts and such as a different take.
(In my IRL work I'm always working to a definitive single image, so I've discovered this is a fun way to explore where the image might go as well as tailoring things for different platforms that are more likely to censor something.)
