May 2020 2nd Newsletter

It's after the second half of the month, and I have some news to share with everyone.

I just uploaded the first chapter of WIEDERGEBURT Act IV yesterday. It's available to Kitsune-tier patrons.

Act IV will be different from any other act I've written, first because there will no longer be any flashbacks. The flashbacks in the first three acts served several purposes: world-building, showcasing Eryk's character development, introducing characters who will show up in later acts, revealing several elements of the plot that I cannot introduce into the present timeline without writing 6-page info dumps, and foreshadowing.

If you've finished reading Act III, then you'll know that the entire purpose of the dream sequence flashbacks was because Kari, Fay, Lin, and Siv all experienced the same flashbacks after they had sex with Eryk.  Showing Eryk's memories in the form of dreams were all foreshadowing the moment Kari and the others regained the memories of their past lives through dreams.

I'm sure a lot of people are wondering what the runes on their chests are and why they have them. That is something I will reveal later in the story, but it won't be until Act VI. I'd like to ask for your patience on this matter.

Aside from WIEDERGEBURT having reached the halfway point, there are a few other things I would like to announce.

I am closing my storenvy and moving it to my author website. I've thought about this long and hard and realized it would just be easier if I could deal with just one online store instead of multiple storefronts. I also wanted to cut out the middleman. I think that's all the news I have right now. I'm currently in the process of editing the current rough drafts for all my WIEDERGEBURT Acts, and then I plan to begin writing again. WIEDERGEBURT is a seven act series. I hope you'll all enjoy the story to its conclusion.
