My new desk is great and a real media project!
Added 2021-06-17 01:57:00 +0000 UTCDefinitely WAY better than working at my computer. My psychology is so much calmer and more relaxed and my posture is sloooowly correcting. I feel 100% better with it.
So I wanted to start another book project--pinups like the old 50s illustrations but with subversive genders, body types, and etc.
I've been gathering inspiration and checking out the styles, etc. Here's my first attempt and/or idea. Just trying to decide if I want to do some of them in gouache. I THINK I like it??? But only for small work. Anything bigger will need to be acrylic or oil.
The BEST part about this new arrangement is that there are no cats allowed, which means I can keep the hair down and hopefully can work in oil without it becoming a hairy mess!!
