Milestones!

Hey everyone, 

Just a small little post to talk about a couple of milestones reached. I've realized that the patreon has now over 30 patrons subscribed with over 100$ per month! That's pretty big as I didn't expect it to happen as quickly as it did!

Another huge milestone is that Beyond20 now has over 4000 active users! 

Ok, yeah, I admit, if it was the 5000 users milestone or 50 patreons milestone, it might have looked cooler, but when I saw these numbers, I thought they were pretty cool :p

Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who encouraged me with this stuff, to those who showed their appreciation, either by subscribing to patreon, sending a donation or just for sending me a thank you message on Discord. I really appreciate it! Also thank you to all of you who vouched for me, talked to others about Beyond20, R20Converter or my FVTT modules. Other than a couple of reddit posts I made with a few views, most of the Beyond20 user base has been brought simply through word of mouth, so that's pretty big!

I know (I suppose?) that most of you here don't care about my little side project of writing a science-fiction book, but it's a little extra that I thought was a fun thing to add to my patreon as well, so here's a little bit of news on that front in case you are interested:

I've finished chapter 10 and reached the 40 000 words milestone there as well. Unfortunately, I've realized that there's an issue with one of the character arcs so I'm going back to the original outline to reshuffle some things so the story of the second main character is tighter and more interesting. I think I have a really good arc for one half of the story in Part 1 (there are 2 characters with independent stories happening) but the second one was just too unfocused. Hopefully I can find a way to just fix it, but I might have to scrap a lot of what I wrote and just redo those chapters. We'll see how it turns out!
