Think you hit the nail on the head talking about Logan's brother. To me, like all of the other characters in the show - they do things because they're selfish but pretend to others like they do it for what they think are virtuous reasons. Kendall exemplified it perfect in the first episode of this season as he told Frank he did it for him or 'us' and then told Rava he did it for her and the kids - when really, of course, it was just for him
