On the topic of your question around 2:38. The way they shot that was Tuco was filmed running through a telescopic lens at a long distance. It was a technique pioneered by Kurosawa and used extensively in The Seven Samurai to create sense of dynamic movement.

Close but the best western ever made which I'm sure you will appreciate more than most is Once Upon a Time in The West

I love this film, but there’s a western I think you will love better than this, though. Got to check out The Magnificent Seven (1960). I know you like Samurai films and there reason why I think you would like this one western more. This western is actually a western adaptation of the Samurai masterpiece, The Seven Samurai. Also all-Star cast: Yul Byrnner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Eli Wallach (Ugly from The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly), Robert Vaughan, James Coburn, Horst Buchholz, and Brad Dexter. Just thought you might like it. https://youtu.be/BiXFJdiGoWA

What are you even talking about? Lol. Provide context next time cause I didn’t even know there was a trilogy.

Why are you skipping the first two movies in the trilogy?!?!? This like starting with the Bourne ultimatum or return if the Jedi (theatrical cut) or back to the future 3 or watching the dark knight rises first. Wtf

It's hard to put into words what the last 20 minutes of this movie mean to me. Not only is the standoff scene probably my favorite scene of all time, I think it contains my favorite film score piece as well. I had a great time watching this with you, dude. Keep doing your thing, you're crushing it.

To go along with what Matthew said, you should probably watch the other two movies in the trilogy at some point.

I know this is the most famous one. But my personal favorite of the three of these is the second one, For a Few Dollars More.
