Vocks are a frightening species of voidal creature who are home to no particular timeline, instead hailing from the empty spaces between worlds. The exact appearance of a vock will vary slightly, but they follow the vague characteristics and basic form. These creatures are made up of a singular, craggy body. They feature a cluster of eyes on the front of their rounded frame, as well as a small mandible mouth. Vocks will have two or more pincered arms, and a cluster of writhing tentacles that protrude from their base. It’s this tentacle mass that carries a vock from place to place.

The Void is a plane of endless nothing, but our very perception of this nothingness has eventually given it physicality, for better or worse. Vocks are a product of this awareness.

These creatures start as the rocks and pebbles that make up the lower regions of The Void. Eventually, the naturally high concentration of voidal energy will cause these objects to evolve and mutate, gaining a degree of animalistic sentience and sending them out on a dark mission of violence and chaos. They will seek out crack within timelines and enter other worlds wherever they can.

Vocks will hunt and attack other lifeforms on sight, which is not often a problem for humans because of the vock’s tiny size. Animals, pets and other smaller creatures of our timeline should steer clear. It should be noted that vocks need very little food to survive, and because of this their attacks are not driven by any sort of primal hunt. They simply exist to cause harm.
