Painting girls

Hey everyone!

This week I’ve been working on some art for the painter mini-game.

A while back I already planned out the whole game, so this time I just had to refine my sketches. Now the art for this game basically consists out of 3 parts; the background, the poses for Keen and the models that will be posing for Keen.

Now I haven’t drawn the models yet, but I did finish the rest. And as you can see below, Keen already has quite a few poses!

The story

Now the story behind this mini-game is as follows; Keen needs to go up to the 9th floor of the the Girls Dorm to find Pari. But to get there he needs to find someone who has a keycard for that floor.

And after some asking around he’ll eventually find a girl who can help him. But... she happens to be waiting in line to get her special valentine’s portrait painted -and she won’t leave until she has it.

However, the painter seems to be missing. And that’s when Keen decides to takes his place, and starts paint the girls himself.

Who to paint?

Now the reasson I haven’t started drawing the models yet, is because I’m not entirely sure yet which models I want to bring foreward. But maybe you can help me decide?

Below you see the girls that are waiting in line to get painted. And it will be the 5th girl that has the keycard Keen needs, so which 5 girls would you like to see more of? Right now they are all on seperate layers, so I can still switch positions. And if there is a clear favorite girl, then I'll include her in the ones who get painted :)

PS. This mini-game is actually a bit inspired on my personal experience! Now I haven’t drawn Valentine’s portraits, but I did quite a bit of model drawing before I started making Space Rescue :)

UPDATE (15-01-2026) : your favorite girls

Hey everyone!

Thanks for letting me know which girls were your favorites! I counted all your votes in the comments below, and figured out who was most populair :)

At the bottom of this image you can see who got the most votes, and at the top you can see who was most populair( where no. 1 is most populair). And based on this count the first 5 girls will be painted by keen.

I'm also thinking to make minigames replayable, perhaps even from a seperate menu or so. And in that case I will likely add all 10 girls to the mini-game! But that's for a bit later :)
