Bosra's Wrestle Match illustration

Hey everyone!

After doing the game-update, I've been spending some time re-organizing my Space Rescue files. It's one of those things that I always keep prosponing. But I had to free up some disk space and stay organized :)

However, that wasn't particulairy exciting... so I really wanted to do some illustrating after that :) Luckily I still had some sketches laying around for Bosra her story, so I've strated refining those.

And this is one of the illustrations I worked on; it's an image for the wrestle mini-game.

Now my starting point for this illustration was a drawing made by Marlies. She helped me out with some art last year, and made several basic illustrations from my sketches. And this is what she made for me back then.

Now I've always been a huge fan of Street Fighter because of the way it's drawn. And I especially like the very defined, cartoony bodyshapes. And so I took the drawing above, and refined it till it had those Street Fighter muscles.

Next to that I also added a bit more drama to the whole scene. And here you can see how I did that.

Well, now I still need to finish 2 more of these - and then all 12 wrestle-match illustrations will be done. Phew!
