Friday Watch Share

Happy Friday, folks! This has been a very busy week getting kids back to school and work kicking into over drive — but maybe some very fun ideas in the pipeline.

I have been protecting my brain castle the last few days as I’m trying to get a book idea out on the page so I haven’t watched anything new. I’m trying to keep in this world’s headspace lol. Order me to write the synopsis this weekend so I can live my life again.

What are you watching??? I wanna play too lol

Hi Claudia your post is so in line where I’m at too. Lovely Journey sounds like a good next pick for me as I too am cheering along with The Winning Try and getting in my post season rugby fix with this darama And I fast forwarded through Goid Boy for the same painful reasons you shared. Hope your travels brought you lovely places! Best to you!

I’m catching up on a lot of things after a wonderful week of travel Law of the City is still top of the list. I like the characters and stories. I started another lawfirm drama, Beyond the Bar. Different dynamics—a smart female newbie vs. a grumpy senior. If it focuses on them, I’ll be happy. Started My Lovely Journey. The first episode is rough with loads of backstory but the 2nd appears to settle down. Now I’m looking forward to lovely travel scenes around SK and maybe a nice romance. It likely won’t be a great drama, but nice would work for me. Caught up on The Winning Try. I still just want the sweet rugby team to succeed and put the mean, scheming adults in their place. I didn’t need the developments this week about the coach. I’m a bit behind on The Nice Guy. Too much gangster infighting, and the obsession by Kang Taehoon with Lee Dong Wook’s girlfriend is icky. Reminds me a bit of the triangle in The Worst of Evil; that one had a lot of suspense that I find missing in this one. I think I’ve given up on Good Boy, which has fully aired, because of SO MUCH beating up of Park Bo Gum. So much.

Pretty much the same as last week. I'm about halfway through "Our Unwritten Seoul" and it's still good. I've found myself fast-forwarding through the office / land-deal plot line. It seems to be a mix of everything I dislike about office dramas (backstabbing, lies, harassment, and manipulation). The rest of the drama is really solid though and it helps that they have good supporting actors (like Kim Sun-young! <3) and it has alot to say about relationships and rumors / gossip and their effects. Still enjoying Twin Peaks as well, though I think the middle of the second season is a little drawn out and saggy. I'm sure it will pick up by the end of the season though.
