Sounds like you had an amazing trip and managed to avoid crocs, taipans, etc. etc. Although I’ve been in Canada most of my life, I was born in Australia and have a lot of extended family there. I love going back - but I have all the same fears about Australian wildlife (I’d add spiders to the list). I have dealing with a lot on the work and family front over the last few weeks, and I have been mentally drained. So I haven’t had the energy to engage in k-drama, even as an escape. My last drama was Sh**ting Stars, which I liked a lot. But this week, I started to watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and I’m just charmed by it. I finished episode 6 last night, so I’ll have a few eps to watch over the weekend. Otherwise, I look forward to some downtime to recover from a cold (not Covid - that was last month!), and maybe do some decluttering, as I’ve let a bunch of stuff pile up while I was preoccupied by other issues. We are having a bit of a heatwave here in BC, where I live. We don’t have AC, so it’s pretty toasty at home. I’m hoping the temps will drop a bit over the next few days.

Hoping to get over this darn fatigue from covid....on 2nd week of feeling dragged out. Enjoying having visitors from Japan staying with me, and talking kdramas with my sister in law. She also has no one in her circle who also watches kdramas. We have been fangirling in between feverish kids and covid naps.

2022-07-27 20:33:11 +0000 UTCHyped about a trip home to see family at the end of this week (Midwest - Indiana). Currently on the tail end of Suspicious Partner and loving it. At the beginning of the series I was kind of like "what am I watching?" But stayed hooked for Ji Chang Wook reasons and found that I'm glad I did! Still reeling from the end of Yumis 2.... team Ba Bi forever over here. That series is amazing and also gutwrenching.

My train ride is about 10 hours total (or 10 kdrama episodes, I'm thinking I could finish Our Blues and take the risk of ugly crying in a wagon full of happy vacationers). I'm looking forward to have some good time and good german beer 🍻 with my friends.

The mind meld is so much stronger without a pesky ocean between us. Anyway, now my Netflix options are different and include HEALER! I'm so ready to fan girl with Meghan! Oh, and Cafe Minamdang hasn't come out here yet so I can catch up on Alchemy of Souls. Good luck with your jetlag and stay hydrated!
