2022-02-07 03:47:19 +0000 UTCDropped Suits despite liking Park Hyung-sik because it was too similar to the American version and didn’t have the qualities that make K-dramas different. Also dropped It’s Ok to Not Be Ok b/c I wasn’t feeling it at the time, but I may go back. Also dropped Yumi’s Cells - not because it wasn’t amazing (it was!) but because I was feeling pretty mentally and emotionally depleted by life in general at the time I was watching it and couldn’t face what I was expecting to happen in that season. I will go back to it though. More recently, I put a pause on The Crowned Clown. The storyline is very good and the acting is terrific, but it’s also pretty heavy going and I needed something lighter so I decided to watch I’m Not A Robot instead (loved it). Will go back to CC at some point.

The emotional turmoil in this drama really rubbed the wrong way and I just was not the biggest fan of the female lead either. I know it is a favorite amongst many but it just wasn’t for me. I hate super angsty romance dramas 😭

2022-01-30 22:22:37 +0000 UTCI had to drop Mouse because the twists and turns were just too stressful. I really like Lee Seung-gi but I have to take lots of breaks to make it through this one. It's also 24 episodes which is just A LOT.

2022-01-30 19:06:21 +0000 UTCEven though I am a big Kim Seonho fan, I have to admit I only made it through the first few eps of Welcome to Waikiki 2. It was very slapstick comedy. But I may finish eventually. I should not have finished The King 2 Hearts because IMO it was over the top with a really maudlin, improbable villain but ... Lee Seung-gi was too hot not to finish it, I'm embarrassed to say. :-D

2022-01-30 15:12:59 +0000 UTCI’m one of the few people it seems who loved K2. I found the romance swoony and the plot suspenseful. My only issue was with her choice to flee barefoot in a nightie but the rest I loved.

(But some dramas I finished I almost wished I’d dropped, side eye 1% of something) - Encounter - too slow, too much Song Hye Kyo looking mournful, didn’t give me feels - Flower Boy Next Door - just didn’t feel the ML though I liked FL character I have more on hold which I might go back to - Run On and K2
