Excited to see what you think about Mr. Queen. We were really divided on this one....I (Lia) loved and Megan & Amy liked parts but overall had issues

Definitely has lots of enjoyable bits, and the main couple is super cute, but I realized that I really dislike some plot devices watching this one (and Another Miss Oh). Spoiler alert: ******** I really really dislike SML as villain (I also don't like SFL as villain, so I guess it's good to learn my dislike of that plot device is gender neutral 😝). ******End Spoiler And maybe I am not a huge fan of romances with lots of convoluted external conflict? At least these things seem to be true in non-historicals. I almost stopped watching a couple times bc the external conflict got so ridiculous. I have started Mr. Queen and am really enjoying it so far. The fish out of water stuff is amazing! And Shin Hae-sun is so great at physical comedy!

I'm planning on going on to Extraordinary You, following Rowoon, drama dropped in 2019, on viki bout a Manga character discovering she a character in the Manga. Corrine from Sex, Love, Literature has talked bout it a few times. The episode number is high at like 32 but the episodes are only 30 minutes.

So I decided to watch a Thai BL drama that ended up MAKING ME CRY A LOT and tbh is the best plotted Thai BL I've seen. It's called A Tale of Thousand Stars, and I watched it because Lia said Alison had liked it. Whew boy. It was a good one. Anyway, on the fence about what to start next. I have a few I'm eyeing but haven't decided. I need to finish a book I'm writing so I might wait until after deadline to tackle something new! -Megan

I have just finished The Witch: Part 1: The Subversion😳😳😳 movie. Just wow. Really need something cute and fluffy now, lol.

I just finished Imitation, and it was such a fun watch! I've been meaning to start Shopaholic King Louis, so I might do that soon!
