Summary of changes for December

Hey guys!

As you know, Devine & I are working very hard on Markl; this, interspersed with updates on Left, Ronin and Wiktopher. HundredRabbits is very busy!

Here is a summary  of the updates we've made this past month:

Themes (left, dotgrid and marabu)

Devine has created themes that can be applied to all of the tools in our creative suit (I think it's fair to call it that, don't you think?). If you like to have a common look to all of your tools, this is for you.

Thousand Rooms (book)

Our Borges for children book "Thousand rooms" is now available for kindle on amazon:

It actually has been on the store for quite some time, but there some issues with it. All have been resolved.

We're also making some test prints for the book, we're thinking of printing the book ourselves and stitch-bind each one by hand. The goal, would be for people to request the language they want (up to two in a single order). This way, it could be used as a tool to learn a new language.

Ronin (graphic design terminal)

Ronin now has zoom functions, as well as better brush control tools. Licence was changed to MIT.

Marabu (music tracker)

Added shortcuts to change the track BPM, and fixed issues with the effect keyframes and layout on Raspberry Pi. Track time was added. A quick-start guide is now available as well. Licence was changed to MIT.

Left (text editor)

Custom stat display when highlighting specific bit of text. Button in the interface for guide, speed-reader was added, scroll at the bottom of screen, licence was changed to MIT.

Dotgrid (vector line tool)

Fixed issue with the guide and resize. Licence was changed to MIT.

Markl (AI tactics game)

Rekka is working on attack and attack fx animations, and has completed the artwork for the level selection screen.

Devine is busy integrating these works, and is working on the engine for sound effects, rendering tools and animation tools. The fighting-style language parsing was also improved.

Hand-drawn prints  

Rekka completed the hand-drawn fungi series, which can be viewed here. Now is time for a new sort of drawing - nautical knots.

This series too, will be put up for sale when it is completed.
