So your saying the entire show is based on the chest? I thought he was going to get to the basement in season 2/3 a s that would just open up the rest of the show VS end goal like Naruto becoming Hokage.

I think the most exciting thing about AoT is the mysteries and how they get unraveled on the journey to the basement, while you prefer to get to the basement asap. For example in Naruto and One Piece, the exciting point for me is the progress and journey and not the goal. It would feel odd to say in episode 15 of Naruto "I just wanna get to the point where he becomes Hokage" as it kinda undermines the journey and growth. But yeah, season 2 and 3 in AoT changed my perspective on ut a lot. During s1 I thought it was okay and Levi was my favorite, then it switched to Erwin and it became a top 3 show for me. Also, Mikasa at this point has I think 3 or 4 titan kills. A few more to go to reach 39 like Oluo from Levi Squad
