Behind the Scenes of the NYC Beach Drop and Premiere Screening

This past Saturday, CBS hosted a Survivor 48 Beach Drop Event and early screening of the premiere for a group of fans in NYC. RHAP's own Mike Bloom, Brandon Donlon, and Sam More were on the scene and now they sit down on this PATRON ONLY podcast to recount their experience at the event to let you know what really went on!

I saw it on an Instagram post. It was fun. I should have posted more about this when I found out tickets were available. There are so many patrons in NYC area and besides the Kalish watch parties I feel there isn't enough RHAP patron meeting up.

This was such a fun experience. Forgot to comment on it but definitely listened to this. It's not everyday Sam More joins the pod panel so that's a treat. But if you have the opportunity to go.i πŸ’― recommend doing this experience. It really is fan service at its best.

Yes please do more of these I also would not mind more of on screen Sam. I have of course know of ALL you do Sam so this is me being selfish and wanting to experience more. I would love love to see these events live

I was confused also!

Thank you for this! Sounds so exciting and Sam More describing meeting Jeff Probst just made me feel so warm and fuzzy! πŸ’•

Yes, I would absolutely love more podcasts like this, behind the scenes and info about Survivor marketing and events. Thank you!

Advantage idea for 50: the β€œ2 player swap advantage”. 1 player from each tribe goes on a journey, where it results in 1 person winning the advantage. The person who wins can swap any 2 players, including themselves, to different tribes before the next challenge. Aka, if Rachel won the advantage, she could’ve swapped Andy to blue and Sue to yellow.

I’m crushed, I literally live in Brooklyn and had no clue this was happening 😭😭😭

It took me until the end of Brandon’s story to realize he was talking about David from 48 and not David Wright.

Fun discussion!! I agree that while I really loathe the new era format, I am grateful for Jeff and his love of making the show. Without him, Survivor may go away, which puts things in perspective.

I loved this. I love that Sam got to be a fan again at something because he has so much on his plate at the RHAP Live events. I love that we got to hear about the experience because even if there were thousands of tickets, most of us still wouldn't be able to go because of travel and life but we still get to be "in the know". And i love that Brandon was there in his hybrid role of alumni/Rhap team/still feels like one of us Patrons. Great job, keep these coming.
