words hidden in fragments melt as they kiss the river
and it’s for their edges carved in my veins
that I know your name suspending over the back of my ear
like fingers in desperate quivering love
yet somehow as still as slowly rippling warm hands in winter water
how does a still image flutter so much
your name is written everywhere
