Brief update on the things I've been working on
Added 2022-10-07 08:59:16 +0000 UTCHi folks! I've been off grid for a while to deal with school&career stuff; school started last month and things came up one after another since then. I've finally got some time to sit down and enjoy modding as the midterm week ends; so here's a boiled-down roadmap of the things I have in mind:
Valence
magic addon to valhalla combat; overhauls ward mostly but will extend to other magicka balances eventually. I've a few good ideas in mind and will also implement some of the ideas you've provided.
Valgrind
(fun fact: the name comes from my fav debugging tool that also beings with val)
a difficulty addon to Valhalla Combat; makes your enemies smarter by allowing them to do:
- timed block. If you relentlessly spam attack on a blocking enemy, they will very likely perform a timed block(depending on your relative leveling).
- dodging. I know good dodging AIs exist(such as the one made by Fenix); so I'm only making a simple chance-based dodging AI. Exhausted enemy cannot dodge so it prevents NPCs from dodging too frequently(as seen in TUDM's AI).
- perilous attacks. I've found a way to properly display visual warnings for perilous attacks(enemy glows in red with an alarming sonud); Many people have been asking for it and I know many people keep sekiro combat solely for its perilous attack. Now it's finally coming! Perilous attacks can't be timed blocked, so it offers some variation to the combat flow to some of you who's gotten used to timed-blocking every single attack.
Payload Interpreter update
a few more cool things to add and support for the newest Skyrim(why bethesda)
K.A.R.S and a yet another poise mod
K.A.R.S is still under development; the behavior and programming part is almost complete, but it still lacks a suite of high-quality reaction animations. Talented animators like Slim, Austio, and Black are working on them, and I'll push a test version as soon as the animations are ready.
and that's it people. Sorry for posting absolutely nothing for the past month, but I'm far from retirement and my enthusiasm remains. I'll work on Valgrind in the next couple of days so expect more updates, and please please harass me if I don't post anything in the following days as the only reason for me to not do so is laziness; cheers
Comments
i wish I can pump out Valgrind in the upcoming days and complete on one more add on by the end of the month now that I have some time:)

2022-10-07 18:44:28 +0000 UTCThanks so much for the updates! Do you also have a very general idea on the timeschedules (sorry for the unsuffarable question)? Can't wait to try your addons! Keep going
