Added 2020-02-08 07:33:26 +0000 UTCI often tell stories, small or bigger, with my pictures but sometimes I just go for the shape, the mood or the sensual tension. No other intention than to record beauty. That doesn't mean there is no story though. Sometimes a glance or a gaze tells a little story all by itself. I just like to look at this kind of picture myself, so I paint a lot of those too. And more often than not they become the prelude to something else. A single picture rarely stays alone. They usually inspire while I'm painting them. Often something completely different but still originating in a picture just like this. It's the process.
